FAQ’s
Location?
Wherever you need
Long answer
Wubblys’ has no physical location. We come to you at a location you have – hey, look at me, this is important – actual legal access to. If you’re not allowed to be there, we’re definitely not allowed to be there.
Price?
Classes are generally $45 per person attending, though this can vary for businesses and private parties. To get any more specific with the answer we’d need to talk to you individually. Fortunately, we have a contact form on our Contact Us page that you can fill out to do just that!
Services
Birthdays, Bar Mitzvahs, Business Events, and those are just the ones that start with ‘B’. If you’ve got an occasion and a location, Wubblys’ is happy to come out and contribute to the festivities. We’re happy to customize the painting we’ll be doing to be more on-theme with the event as well. For a short list of generic events and classes we offer, see our Types of Wubblys’ Events page. To ask any more questions you may have about your specific event, reach out on the Contact Us page.
Experience Needed
None! You don’t have to be an artist to make art, and you can do so, so, so much better than you think you can (we promise) when someone’s telling you exactly what to do and how to do it.
How to Schedule/Book a Class
Reach out to us via text, call, or email. Our phone number is (425) 954-5494, our email is info@wubblys.com, and our mailing address is classified so we really recommend call, text, or email. You can also fill out a contact form on our Contact Us page if you feel like sending an email with a little extra pomp and circumstance.
What to Bring
Yourself, your friends/loved ones/peers/pets (pets vary depending on the venue), and something to drink (also varies depending on the venue). We bring the canvas, easel, teacher, sound system, paints, brushes, bright smiles, and can-do attitudes all to you.
What to Expect
Classes are around 2 hours of guided instruction in a group of 5-30 people. It’s a social outing that doesn’t take itself too seriously. You’re encouraged to talk, ask questions, complain about your day, sing, dance, and generally enjoy yourself as best you know how.
Hours
Classes can be scheduled at pretty much any time of any day with enough notice. Our hours where we’re actively answering phones and emailing emails is from 9AM-5PM on weekdays, and 12PM-6AM on weekends.
What’s the Latest I can Schedule an Event?
We prefer you schedule an event with at least a week’s notice, but it can’t hurt to call and see if we’re able to fit your class into our schedule with less notice.
I need to get in touch
You can reach out through text, call, or email at (425) 954-5494 and info@wubblys.com respectively. You can also fill out a form on our Contact Us page, but — I’ll be perfectly honest with you here — that’s just the same as sending us an email with extra steps.
Can I Bring a Friend?
Not only can you bring one or more friends, you can bring enemies too! As long as it’s an event that you’ve all signed up for beforehand you can bring the whole spectrum of your peers.
Class Sizes
Class size is between 5 and 30 people, though exceptions can be made on a case by case basis.
Dress Code
Defer to the venue’s dress code. A good rule of thumb is shirts and shoes, with pants highly recommended*.
*they’re probably required
Payment
Payment is processed differently depending on how the class is set up, but if you’re the one scheduling the class we will reach out beforehand and send a finalized invoice that must be paid before the class can take place.
Minimum Shoe Size
I’m gonna be honest with you, chief, that’s a really weird question to be asking. None, I guess. We don’t really pay attention to that.
When should I Show Up
Try to show up 15-30 minutes early. We like to get started right on time, and being fashionably late will make it difficult (but not impossible) to catch up.
When Does Wubblys’ Show Up
For most venues Wubblys’ will show up 90 minutes before the start of the class to ensure everything is set up and ready for people to get seated 15-30 minutes before the class begins.
Food and Drink Provided?
Not by Wubblys’ but the venue may have those for sale. If not, it’s BYOS (bring your own substances).
Setup/Cleanup
Wubblys’ takes care of all the setup before and cleanup after. If you’re the one organizing the class we recommend having some kind of table coverings in place so we don’t go on a guerilla redcorating campaign over the course of the class. Cleanup generally takes about an hour after the end of the class, and setup takes about 90 minutes before the class starts.
What’s the Deal with Tipping?
If the class takes place at a location where there are bartenders and/or wait staff that have attended to you, you should please tip them. Our instructors appreciate and accept tips as well, though they are not required, and — look at me, look at me — you should make sure your wait staff and bartenders are tipped before you even think of tipping us. We had a vote, we all agreed.
